Strategic Narratives Creating stories that influence decision makers

About our Introduction to Strategic Narratives
A key challenge for UX designers is that delivery teams favour quick feature releases over designing outstanding experiences.
Delivery teams see over-budget initiatives that don’t meet their business case, while strategic designers struggle to have their recommendations implemented. These issues arise from a lack of influence skills needed to persuade decision-makers to prioritise building the right solutions over rushing to deliver the wrong ones.
This course equips participants with the ability to influence project scope, timelines, and approaches by ensuring alignment with business goals.
What will you learn in this intro session?
- Understand the role that we play in influencing delivery outcomes
- Discover the broader stakeholders that we must engage with our communications
- 1 framework to structure your stories so the business cares about the changes you propose
